Did you know humpback whales can rest with one half of their brain at a time, allowing them to keep breathing while they sleep?

And newborn calves are already around 1.5–2 tonnes when they’re born! They can gain more than 45 kg a day, drinking up to 600 litres of their mum’s incredibly rich milk — which can contain around 35–50% fat and is thick and creamy rather than watery like the milk we’re used to. 🐋🥛
