A coastline carved by nature and loved by all 🌊. Squeaky Beach is one of Wilsons Promontory National Park's most iconic destinations, whose enormous granite boulders create an unforgettable stretch of coastline, harmoniously blended with brilliant white quartz sand and crystal-clear water.
Follow the 4.2km return walk 🥾 from the Tidal River area to reach this spectacular beach. Listen for the famous squeak beneath your feet as you stroll across the quartz sand, cool off in the turquoise water or explore the dramatic granite headlands 🌿and rocky coves that frame the shoreline 💦. It's the perfect place to pause, take in the scenery and experience one of Gippsland's most photographed 📷 beaches.
Make a day of it by exploring more of the Prom🚶➡️, from the Mt Oberon Summit Walk (6.8km return), or immerse yourself in the lush rainforest of the Lilly Pilly Gully Circuit (5.8km return) with plenty of opportunities to spot native wildlife along the way.
