Thank you to all who were here at Easter. Especially Neil, for mowing and tree felling, William for mowing and helping me place the yard, Ewan for the whipper snipper and Nathan for the wonderful cat cage extension and solar update. Hi everyone, it's on again. This coming weekend and next is a fencing weekend. Only 350m to go and most is easy stuff along the creek flat. Everyone is welcome. Easy jobs include keeping the Billy boiling, or simply doing the tie offs. Bit of light chainsaw work for the boys. Come for the day or overnight, we can accommodate. BUT, it is still warm work. We'll be working early morning and late afternoon. Message me for details if your keen to be involved. (2nd photo is the boys getting the hard bit done)

Hi everyone, this weekend at the block is a fencing weekend from Friday so everyone is welcome. Easy jobs include keeping the Billy boiling, or simple doing the tie offs. Bit of light chainsaw work for the boys. Come for the day or overnight, we can accommodate. Basic facilities available. BUT, it is going to be HOT. We'll be working early morning and late afternoon only. Let me know if your keen to help.

Monday 7th September. The moon is coming later and there is less of her. It's warmer - there were a couple of mozzies. Again a chorus of mopoks near and far and now a couple of new owls calling - a really deep monotone call. Could it be powerful owls? The koalas are rumbling on. They sound further away - on the topside of the road maybe? A paddy melon has just hopped through, not concerned at all.

Monday 31st August Moonlight competing with the fire light. The evening was so mild and very still. There were 3 or 4 mopok calling along the creek and I am sure I heard the koalas growling grumbling and roaring on the ridge across the gully.
My wonderful brother helped me fence the creek. So very pleased and grateful for a job well done.
