Here you can have have both "country and coastal" in the one location. This wonderful, stylish country beach Bed and Breakfast is located just 6 minutes from Normanville township and Normanville Beach and 7 minutes from the Carrickalinga Beaches. It is ideally located for those who wish to visit and explore the McClaren Vale wine region, enjoy a brief stay before travelling to Cape Jervis for Kang

aroo Island or begin a walk on the Heysen Trail along the rugged southern coast and Delamere Conservation Park. All these attractions are only 30 minutes distance from the Bed and Breakfast. A dog yard is also provided for the well behaved small to medium sized dog. We had a delightful stay in Yankalilla/Normanville, and a good part of that was thanks to Watson Park. It’s an unusual place, part of a 5 acre property, with a lovely rural feel and a view over the sea in the distance. Everything was well apportioned and comfortable. The kitchenette was perfectly stacked, the armchairs very comfortable, the bed lovely, the bathroom quirky but excellent. The host welcomed us and helped us settle in. The area is super for exploring the coast, walking in the bush, cuisine - we highly recommend Aquablue on Normanville foreshore. Check out the Information centre between the two towns for more recommendations.

Beautiful spot in the world. Peaceful location with stunning views of the sea and private little cottage. All the little comforts of home with lovely touches. Hosts were lovely people.

The pictures on Booking.com really don’t do the property justice. It’s a really cute little place furnished beautifully and just the right size for one to 2 people. The owners have decorated it beautifully. When you first walk in to the property, there’s a king bed and a TV in the bedroom with side tables adjacent to this room is a dressing area and place for your bags. Walk-through into a bigger room there’s a kitchen to your left and lounge area to your right and a table already for you to have dinner with plates cuddling and glasses set out for you. There’s plenty of reading on the bookshelf and a TV overhead. If you arrive early enough, you can open the French doors near the kitchen and sit out side with the view of the ocean and a sunset. In the morning, walk around the beautiful garden and see the kangaroos nesting underneath the trees . The place is so close to little towns around the area and it’s such a beautiful spot .

We have stayed at Watson Park 5 times over the past 2.5 years. It’s the perfect coastal spot for a break from ‘city working and living’. The gardens are immaculate, the facilities more than adequate and Jan & Richard are always welcoming & accomodating. We love that we can travel & relax with our mini schnauzer too, and the town of Normanville (& beach) is very dog friendly. BB Bear 🐶 loves our trips down south.

Had a very relaxing stay here recently. The decor of the cottage was just gorgeous and it was so comfortable, great bed, and had everything that we needed and some! Highly recommend as somewhere very relaxing to spend in this great part of the world. Richard was a great host and the grounds and gardens are lovely. Great views. Thank you....Karen

A beautifully styled and sparkling clean cottage which was wonderful to return to in the afternoons after exploring the surrounding areas. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the many extra touches throughout the cottage. Highly recommend.

Perfectly located for exploring the Fleurieu Peninsula, Richard's place is super cosy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. From a super easy personal check-in, wonderful views, beautiful garden, comfortable bed, close location to restaurants in Yankalilla and Normanville (we loved One Little Sister restaurant with super fresh tasty pasta), yummy continental breakfast (delicious jam selection and fresh bread!) and other mixed touches (Wine! Crackers/dip!), and a warm personal send-off; we felt well looked after and provided for. It was a perfectly relaxing, albeit short, weekender with my husband and our little doggie.
