Warburton is less than than 10 minutes from the park. A stunning town. The weekends can be crazy so if you can manage it… Wednesday onwards is best to make sure the bars, restaurants and cafes are open.

There are multiple other lovely towns close by too but for now… here is a Warburton video.

Escape the big smoke!
This is Warburton, less than 10 minutes from the park.
This river is the Ctrl-Alt-Delete reset for humans.

Grab some food and drinks from one of the great cafes or bakery and plonk yourself here. We have the “Little Yarra River” at the park… but this is its leader; the beautiful “Birrarung” (Yarra River), which translates to "river of mists”

This fabulous bar (and the other great locations in the Age article) are less than 10 minutes from the park.
A fancy-pants contrast to your plastic glasses and cask wine in the trusty caravan 😃 - there is nothing wrong with Chateau Cardboard but if you want to seriously up your vino game… here it is!!!

Our beautiful sandstone seats now installed at the communal firepit. We installed 4 (seating 8.) in a semi circle… leaving the other arc for folks to bring their own chairs if preferred.

Once the rain goes this weekend will be lovely to enjoy evening fires 🔥

The bird attracting native planting is all complete so we can’t wait for a spring or two ❤️

6 minutes to adventure!

Britannia Creek Cave Geological Reserve and Britannia Creek Falls are super close to the park (6 mins).

You can visit the caves yourself or you may choose a great guided adventure with Warburton Adventure Co

The falls are a glorious short walk from the reserve carpark (not our car park) 😃

A snow adventure anybody?

The park is just above sea level so you won’t freeze 🥶 BUT… within 20 minutes drive from the park you can be playing in the snow. This freakish weather has bought the first snowplay opportunity this season ☃️

You can enjoy a warming camp 🔥 when you return to your site ❤️
