U-Beach: Universal Beach ACcess Hub providing beach wheelchairs and support to access the beach for those keen to get to the beach and splash some ocean water on the body!
🐚 Enjoy beach games, stalls, entertainment, and free activities, all inclusive and welcoming to everyone.

💦 Public toilets at Bell Park, Emu Park AND additional disability portable toilets.

💦 Emu Park Lions Shack converted into a disability change room, providing a height-adjustable bed, hoist and support.

ATTENTION Search and Rescue TALISMAN SABRE INCIDENT
Helicopter down near Linderman Island on FRIDAY night.
Flight crew are yet to be found.
WIth the weather today I'm sure there will be plenty of boats out on Keppel waters. Please keep your eyes peeled.
With a huge contingent in Soalwater for training you'd think it would be easy but seamen know how hard it is to spot someone in open water. The more eyes the better.

Great stuff Hapag-Lloyd Cruises for dropping the MS Europa 2 offshore for a visit. Yeppoon Capricorn Coast needs support and coverage to boost our failing tourism industry. You generated a huge reach and we appreciate the spectacle.
The resort lived up to its motto and got wrecked but the beaches are spectacular. We hope your passengers and crew enjoyed the stay.

Council has today launched a survey to determine if there is support to allow 4WD access on unpopulated beaches, such as Ritamada Beach Emu Park, Timbers Beach Zilzie and Long Beach Joskeleigh.

Under the current Local Law, driving on any beach, other than Farnborough Beach north of Hinz Avenue, is prohibited, however certain beaches permit access for the purpose of launching and retrieving a boat.

The survey also provides an opportunity for residents to indicate if they are interested in being a member of a ‘Southern Beach Reference Group’ if one is formed.
