Hello Everyone,
Jeanette here, one of your hosts at York's lookout lodge.
Sorry I have not been on for a while, life gets hectic but I am going to make an effort to drop you a line with all the events that are coming up here in York.
And there are many starting with April the 11th.
We have a antique and collectable event held in the lovely Town Hall building on Avon Terrace .
It runs for three days the 11th, 12th, and 13th of April.
It only costs $3.00 to enter.
This event is held every year so why not have a nice drive to York and pop in and find a treasure.
You will see Paul there (my other half and co-host), we have a stall there. I will pop in between guest's arriving .
So please say hello to both if you pop in .
All the eateries will be open .
The court house is opened again YAY, we were closed for the very hot summer, the coolest place in the court house is the cells and I do not fancy being in there for long 😟.
Why not pop in and go around the cells.
Okay guys I have gone on too much.

Welcome to our newly enlightened page.

We offer 2 beautiful rooms, Magpie Room - located within the back of the main house and the W***y Wagtail Room - located within the patio area. Both rooms have their own private access from the garage port area through the patio.

Rooms are subject to availability upon booking request.

We will do our best to update our page regularly with upcoming events, special promotions and photos of what's been happening at the lodge.

As part of our service - we offer and provide guests with a contentential breakfast with a variety of hot and cold condiments, free WiFi, Netflix, Telstra TV, room amenities of coffee and tea facilities, in room fridge, private seating area and a private bathroom facility.

We are happy to announce that Yorks Lookout Lodge has an additional room inside the main house, which is completely private and equipped with its own ensuite and sitting room! We can now accommodate a maximum of 4 guests!

Hello Everyone,🙋‍♀️💁‍♂️
First of all Paul and I hope you are all keeping well and managing to get through all the hot weather we have had.
York as been very hot some days but I have to say it does cool down at night which is great at least you can sleep .
We have been busy with the B&B, yes I know who would have thought at this time of the year.😲
Mainly people from overseas where it is freezing cold....
We have a lot going on in York in February,
I will put the calendar up for you to have a look at.
In April the whole of April we have so much happening ..
I will post the calendar when I receive it from the town hall.
We are already getting bookings for that month .
But guys it will be worth a drive to York then so much free things to do for the family in this Heritage Month in April.
And it will be a lot cooler 👍.
Well everyone I had better go and get dinner ready for Valentines Day I hope you all remembered that it is today !!
