The Possum Pad

The Possum Pad is found in the charming historic village of Yungaburra. A quiet village situated in the centre of the Atherton Tablelands on the southern end of Lake Tinaroo.

You can walk down to the village to enjoy coffee in one of many coffee shops, wander around and feel the charm of the old village. Built around the 1920’s mainly on the timber industry and the advent of Soldier Settlement blocks. Which grew the dairy industry.

The Monthly markets are always very popular with locals and visitors alike. Through the year there are a variety of festivals.

The platypus in Petersen Creek are always there to give a cheeky welcome and delight the visitor. On rare occasions you might spot a tree kangaroo.
