After a massive hiatus (thanks to the weather), we’re finally reopening Pick Your Own Strawberries!

📅 Sunday, 9 August
⏰ 9:00am – 2:00pm (weather permitting)

Sunshine is forecast ☀️, but if rain arrives, Pick Your Own will close for everyone’s safety.

Not a fan of big crowds? We’ll also be open for PYO on Wednesday, 12 August, weather pending. More dates will be released soon.

Before heading into the paddock, please help us keep PYO safe and enjoyable for everyone by following these simple rules:

🍓 Closed-in footwear must be worn.
🍓 Respect our plants – please don’t pull out plants or break leaves and vines.
🍓 Stay within the taped areas and only pick from the designated rows.
🍓 Pick only solid red strawberries – please leave green fruit and flowers to grow.
🍓 Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
🍓 No eating in the paddock – please wash and enjoy your strawberries after purchase.
🍓 Safety first – PYO will close immediately if wet or unsafe weather develops.

Housekeeper – Casual Position
Eden House Retreat | Yungaburra

We are looking for a reliable, motivated Housekeeper to join our small, friendly team at Eden House Retreat, a boutique motel in the heart of beautiful Yungaburra.

This is a casual position offering a minimum of 10 hours per week, with additional hours available depending on occupancy. Casual award rates apply, including penalty rates for weekend work. Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required is essential.

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:

Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to a high standard.
Making beds and changing linen.
Cleaning bathrooms and kitchenettes.
Restocking guest amenities.
Maintaining the cleanliness of public areas.
Reporting any maintenance issues.
Helping create a welcoming experience for our guests.

About You
We're looking for someone who:

Takes pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail.
Is reliable, honest, and well presented.
Can work independently and as part of a small team.
Has a positive attitude and excellent time management skills.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
