We start this Sunday at 10am! First things first: We need ourselves a fort, right? So we'll build one ✌️⁠ ⁠
Wolf Cubs is a nature club for kids from 6 to 12 years old. We meet up on Sundays at 10am & go and have fun for about 2 hours (leaving parents behind). Price is 10KM per child. No commitment, join us on the dates you like 🙂⁠ ⁠
We speak English, but translating here and there is possible 😉 See you and your wildling on the mountain! ⁠ ⁠

🌱How to use common wild herbs? 🌸 How to make natural hand-made soaps? How to preserve vegetables by fermentation? Answers to these questions, and more! ⁠ ⁠
Over this summer Nepu from Vukov konak - a trained herbalist and an enthusiast of wild living - will run workshops on Saturdays at 12:00. We're kicking off next week: 10th of July! ⁠⁠
Our method is learning by doing, the mini courses really are workshops, and everyone gets their hands 'dirty' 😉 All instructions and information will be in English. ⁠ ⁠

FAMILY EVENT Back to Nature - book your place!⁠ ⁠
We're running a 24 hour mini retreat for families at Vukov konak. Come and join us - Saturday 3rd of July at 10am!⁠ ⁠
Our family has always been one to spend time outdoors, go hiking, and explore the surrounding nature. For us it's a way to stay close to each other as a family, and learn, enjoy and relax together. ⁠⁠
We believe it's important for families to spend time together (without digital devices and wifi access 😉) and reconnect as a family and with wilderness. Our place offers great opportunity for all that! ⁠⁠
(We also run a kids' nature club at Vukov konak and Nepu works in Finland guiding children's afternoon activities in a local association there.)⁠ ⁠
This summer we're organising two Back to Nature for Families events, first one taking place in 3rd to 4th of July, Saturday to Sunday. ⁠⁠
Spaces are limited, only max 4 families can join (depending on the number of persons), and we're taking bookings now! Prices are 69KM per person including activities, staying overnight, and all meals during the event. ⁠ ⁠

We're just here to let you know our whole family - kids and furry friends included - is finally in Bosnia for the summer! ☀️
It looks like some wonderful days coming up, with warm weather and plenty of sunshine! Come for coffee or stay for lunch, even for the night - we'll be super happy to meet you.

Sleep over in one of our small huts or rooms in the main building – enjoy the natural environment and slow pace of life! Book with us by DM/PM or send an email to [email protected] or call Jasmin on 065432024 (Viber and WhatsApp, also). ⠀⠀
We have space from double / twin rooms to 3-4 sharing a room. Each room has electricity (and heating if necessary), bathrooms and toilets are shared. ⠀ ⠀
We are located some 18km from Vijecnica, downtown Sarajevo. You can reach us by hiking, cycling, driving a private car or we can book a car / taxi for you. (We don't recommend taking a taxi independently from Sarajevo as many drivers don't know the road to us.)⠀⠀
Come alone or with your family or friends! Vukov konak is also a pet friendly place. If you want to come for a weekend break or a holiday with your dog, contact us beforehand. We have children running about, and our own dogs plus a resident cat Pekka at the premises, so we hope your dog is also friendly to others 😻 ⠀⠀
We practice safety measures, and as part of that, we encourage all our guests to eat out in the garden whenever possible and to keep a safe distance to other guests. We take good care of hygiene and provide hand sanitising for our guests, of course. ⠀⠀
This season our overnight prices are 35KM per person incl. breakfast, and 17KM for children 6-12 years old (younger kids stay free of charge). ⠀ ⠀

Summer 2021 activities at Vukov konak! ☀️✌️
You may wonder what we really offer, right? You may have visited us for a coffee or a lunch, or you may know we've got rooms and huts to staying over. Maybe you're familiar with our Finnish sauna or the kids' nature club Wolf Cubs 👍
To make it easier, we made a little compilation of what we have this season:
👣 Try relaxing herbal treatments & sauna experiences
📴 Enjoy digital detox, an awesome time of not being available
👫 Come by on Sundays for Wolf Cubs, our nature club for kids!
🌿 Or learn about herbs, soap making, or fermentation on Saturdays' mini courses
♻️ Join us cleaning the environment on the 10th of July, our Forest Clean-Up community event!
💚 And hit the wilderness as a family on our Back to Nature for Families event in July or August
🌸 Go wild on a retreat for women in July
😴 And make sure you stay for a night before the season's over, sleeping is better close to nature.
Most of the organised activists happen in July and August this year. Stay tuned for details!

You know, we never get inspired sitting and staring at screens 🙄 Our best ideas always come when we're offline and outdoors! 🌿
Seems like there's no solutions, no new ideas, unless there's fresh air and zero digital devices.
This is what we want to offer to you, too!
Vukov konak provides a natural tech & digi detox for everyone 🌿 We do have electricity, but we use power sparingly. Most mobile networks don't have coverage at ours. And there's absolutely no WiFi!
