WARNING: FLASH FLOOD ALERT
Due to recent heavy rainfall and rising water levels in the LAMA region, a flash flood warning is currently in effect. The safety of our guests is our absolute priority. Please read and strictly adhere to the following cautionary safety guidelines:
• Move to Higher Ground Immediately: If you notice rapidly rising water or receive an evacuation notice from camp staff, relocate to designated high-ground safety areas immediately. Do not wait.
• Avoid Rivers and Streams: Stay completely away from riverbanks, streams, and natural water channels. Flash flood waters carry heavy debris and possess extremely strong currents that can sweep a person away instantly.
• Do Not Drive or Walk Through Floodwaters: Never attempt to walk, swim, or drive through moving water. Even a few inches of rapidly moving water can knock you off your feet or cause a boat to lose control.
• Secure Personal Belongings: Keep your identification, electronics, medications, and essential valuables in waterproof bags and close at hand for quick movement.
• Follow Staff Instructions: Camp management is continuously monitoring local weather reports and authority updates. Cooperate fully with all emergency drills, relocation protocols, or evacuation instructions provided by the on-site team.
• Stay Connected: Keep your mobile devices charged. Report any localized flooding, structural compromise, or immediate safety hazards to the camp office right away.
Please remain calm and vigilant. We are committed to ensuring your safety throughout this weather event.
