SAIRU Hill Resort area is set against the spectacular greenery covered hill range which is renowned for its natural beauty, round the year pleasant climate and as the heart of Buddhist culture. It is conveniently located on the hill slopes at the Y – junction of the road from Bandarban to Chimbuk. It covers an area of approximately 12 acres and the resort structures are clustered and spread within

a vertical height of 1000 feet to 1775 feet above sea level giving it a picturesque view. On a clear sunny day even the Bay of Bengal is visible on the horizon which is just about 40 km crow flight distance away. It takes only about 45 minutes drive through this interesting hilly terrain on a road that ascends and descends along the curves of the hills lending a panoramic scenic beauty overlooking the Shangu River on the North-East and the Bay of Bengal is visible on the North-West.
