But few places keep that history as alive as Rococo on the Wollestraat, which has been crafting and collecting lace since 1834.

What looks like a charming lace shop also doubles as a small private museum. Tucked upstairs & quietly holding a remarkable collection of antique lace, lacemakers' patterns, tools and archives, all lovingly curated by Mieke Brack.
