Our Story

In the heart of Bruges, next to the historic brewery of Bruges, lies Gallery Guesthouse (previously known as B&B Den Witten Leeuw). Owners are Koos de Muinck and Bernd Hirschfeldt, composer and pianist. So you might be in for some live music during your stay with us... The buildings date back to 1570 with many historic features, inside we have housed our cosy B&B as well as a new art gallery that is open to visitors from Thursday to Sunday between 15:00 and 17:30. Guest staying in our B&B will be able to enjoy the beauty of the house at the cosy medieval square (the Walplein) as well as the art works that hang in our lounge and all around the building. Our reception room contains a small fireplace, a sunny conservatory and a veranda with view on the garden. In July and August guests are welcome to use our pool in the garden. Fresh bean coffee and tea is available all day long, as well as beer, wine and other drinks. All rooms have private bathrooms with either shower or bath. WIFI is available throughout the whole building and in the garden. Two private parking spaces are available, that can be booked in advance. If you contact us directly, we will always be able to give you a special reduction on your stay with us. See you in Bruges, in our Gallery & Guesthouse!
