For the third
consecutive year, the Responsible Business Team of Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam city centre distributed bread, biscuits, soup and coffee to the homeless at different locations in the city, this in cooperation with the Salvation Army Amsterdam.

In total 60 litres of tomato soup, 30 sandwiches with salami and cheese, 150 "stroopwafels" and 40 litters of coffee were distributed between 6 and 11 PM.

The Radisson Blu Balmoral Hotel in Spa gathered a team to clean the surroundings of the hotel. 600 litres of garbage were collected!

On Sunday 4th August, the Radisson Blu Balmoral Hotel Spa team organized a cleaning action in the surroundings of the hotel. 600 litres of garbage were collected. Even Lumi joined in on this occasion!

Met de uitreiking van de Groene Sleutel voor het Radisson Blu Palace en het Radisson Blu Balmoral hotel in Spa, zijn alle 11 Belgische hotels van de Rezidor Hotel Group groen. Ook het nieuwe Park Inn by Radisson Brussels Midi haalde recent zijn Groene Sleutel binnen.
Alle Belgische Radisson Blu en Park Inn by Radisson hotels, in totaal 1637 kamers, hebben voortaan de Groene Sleutel. In totaal hebben 223 hotels van de Rezidor een ecolabel. Groene Sleutel hotels zorgen voor een milieuvriendelijk beleid, de installatie van spaar- en LED verlichting, verminderen hun energie- en waterverbruik, vermijden het gebruik van schadelijke chemicaliën en werken aan het terugbrengen van het afvalvolume en het maximaliseren van recyclage.
De Groene Sleutel is het internationale ecologisch keurmerk bij uitstek voor hotels. Met meer dan 2000 Groene Sleutel hotels in 38 landen wereldwijd is het de beste garantie voor een groen verblijf.
In België zijn de Bond Beter Leefmilieu (www.bondbeterleefmilieu.be) en de Fédération Inter-Environnement Wallonie (www.iew.be) de officiële partners van de Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) om de Groene Sleutel te implementeren respectievelijk in Brussel & Wallonië en in Vlaanderen.
