In februari kregen we, na bijna 5 jaar, Toerisme Vlaanderen Visit Flanders over de vloer voor een controle en sterrenclassificatie. Flashback naar het begin van Villa Parkbos : toen we de eerste plannen uitschreven, stond er “we starten een 4-sterren B&B”. Zonder precies te weten wat dat betekende.

Sinds enkele weken hangt het ****-bordje te blinken aan onze gevel: de hoogste classificatie voor B&B’s. Het staat voor de ervaring die we elke dag willen creëren met aandacht voor elk detail en oprechte gastvrijheid.

In February, after nearly 5 years, we welcomed Toerisme Vlaanderen Visit Flanders for an inspection and star classification.

Flashback to the early days: when we first wrote down our plans, we said “we’re starting a 4-star B&B” — without fully knowing what that meant.

For the past few weeks, the **** sign has been proudly displayed on our facade — the highest classification for B&Bs. It reflects the experience we strive to create every day: attention to every detail and genuine hospitality.

This week, .travel chose as the base camp for two powerful preparation sessions ahead of upcoming expeditions to Patagonia and Swedish Lapland.

Under the guidance of , the expedition members were pushed out of their comfort zone with cold-exposure practices, fire-making techniques, and cooking over open flames, all surrounded by the calm and quiet of our green oasis.

At Villa Parkbos, we share the same spirit as Element X: supporting ambitious entrepreneurs who want to stretch their limits. A place where nature, focus and adventure naturally come together. Perfect for workshops, coaching sessions and teambuildings.

Look, we’re on national television VTM 🎥

For the second time, Blind Getrouwd chose Villa Parkbos as the perfect spot for the bride’s special night. 👰‍♀️💍 She stayed with her best friends and witnesses, and the next morning, her parents came to pick her up for the wedding venue.

Such a unique and emotional moment! We were thrilled to provide a calm, comfortable stay on her big (and stressful!) day! 🫶
