Out of the Box (2020)

2020 was a year no one will forget. While the world came to a halt, the industry searched for creative solutions. After 35 years, we organized our own events again: a series of live concerts on our parking lot. Together with De Moeraskamelen we tried to lighten up a dark period in many of our lives.

European elections (2019)

In 2019, Ampli provided technical support for the European elections, a project that required a high level of safety, reliability and flawless ex*****on. It was also the year the first Chauvet fixtures joined our inventory.

Avondland is the master project by Lander Merckx, presented on April 3–4, 2026 at KASK & Conservatorium. Set on the Arsenaalsite in Ghent and directed by Merckx, the piece sits at the intersection of installation and performance. We supported the production with lighting and trussing.

End of an era (2018)

After 30 years, we closed our shop and stopped consumer sales. From then on, Ampli focused 100% on professionals: rental, production and technical expertise.

Two weeks ago, Milk Inc. kicked off the festival weekend at the Weerdsebierfeesten. The tent was completely packed as the crowd gathered for a spectacular performance, setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend.

Sunpower (2017)

In 2017, Ampli committed to a greener future. We installed 180 solar panels and began reducing our footprint step by step.

The next generation

In 2013, Bram, Mark’s son, took his first steps at Ampli. His baptism of fire was a week in Paris, supporting five fashion shows with sound and light.

Ampli goes visual

The market asked for more, and we delivered. In 2009 we expanded into video: projectors, screens and plasma displays, making Ampli a true one-stop shop for sound, light and visuals.

That same year, our Adamson park grew with the compact Metrix system, perfect for smaller and more intimate events.
