• Minimize unnecessary pipe length and sharp bends
• Avoiding sudden changes in pipe diameter

Diesel generators are often used to power construction and sewage pumps. However, there is now a more environmentally friendly and low-emission alternative: battery-powered, mobile solutions that are emission-free and quiet.

Our colleagues at Tsurumi Pumps UK Limited conducted tests with Instagrid , a leading supplier of these battery-based power storage systems:
A LB-480 drainage pump and a heavy KTV3-55 tunnel construction pump were connected to battery-powered generators to measure how many litres of water they could pump on a single battery charge.

The results were outstanding:
Both units transported around 40,000 litres of water on a single battery charge! Energy-efficient, quiet, emission-free.
