Even though its winter and it's very cold and snowy life just doesn't stop. We are still renovating and lucking after a feathered lil cluckers. They are all ticked in for the night with food and warm water so it doesn't freeze quick. Having found 13 hidden treasures (eggs) i now have a fridge full of eggs so I guess its going to be a baking day

So we now have 10 new chick's to the muddypuddles farm. No idea if male or female so we will find out when they start cockerdoodling and strutting their feathers like they are 10 men. Our Poppet and Scruffy have took their job as security like their lives depend on it and even guards there scraps so no predator can get to it (sighs). I am preparing all the walls and rendering and doing all the jobs to get the house sorted whilst adam is cutting and maintaining the yard and barns ready for the winter. And our adopted street dog is keeping watch on our house making sure she sees anyone off that drives past the house also trying to get my attention for her breakfast.
