Muddy Puddles Farm & Guest House It hasn't always been easy, but it's definitely an adventure.

We swapped our old life for a little B&B in Bulgaria! 🇧🇬🏡

Good evening everyone. I apologise for not keeping up to date on our fb page but our tiktok page is very active so please feel free to add and follow us for content of our bnb and videos. Now winter is coming its starting to get a little quiet so I am having more time on doing the last bits ot the house. We have since had 2 female ducks but 1 sadly lost her life today. Our baby chucks are thriving and loving the land and our pig is enjoying all the fruits and veggies and left overs being a little fat piggy she is. In the meantime our dogs. Charlie, Scruffy and Poppet are enjoying the cooler weather and have become more active, they love new guests coming and making a fuss of them. We have had such a lovely few months of being a bnb and have loved all the feedback and have made some truly amazing new friends that have become our neighbours now. Don't be fooled by their innocent look, they are very beautiful creatures but the bigger ones are grumpy and I think may have dementia or just crazy as they think they can eat you. And i just rescued a baby lizard in my house which the dog tried eating but didn't because the lizard bit her, a very feisty little lizard. Now released back into the nature garden.

We are absolutely over the moon with all our bookings we are receiving. Our reviews are all on different booking platforms so soon as we can we will share the reviews with you. Alot of our guests thay have come and stayed have left as friends and we stay in contact. Our main aim is to help you settle in, relax and enjoy your time here in Bulgaria and offer any tips/advice and even pass recommendations and refer you to friends and professionals that we use and can highly recommend whether it be gardening, handyman, taxi, pet sitting, ourselves riding, solicitors, estate agents and translators. We want you love this country just as much as we do. Alot of guests are people that are coming to grew properties or to renovate so meeting follow friends is wonderful but we also do a 1 night stay for people passing through as we know ourselves you need to rest your head when driving along way. We have seen a few cyclists riding the Bulgaria to Turkey with some wonderful stories. 1 of our guests rode from Spain and was cycling to China. How awesome is that. Then a couple of friends from school over 30 years ago had caught up and decided to ride across the countries. Also we have recently had guests that are Bulgarian and that was special for us that they chose to stay with us. We also have very close friends that come back over for a holiday. We can promise you a relaxed stay and good food.

Another hot day. Some more bits to finish off. Ordering our wood for the winter. Need to cut the field on the back as the field is becoming a lil overgrown and we do have snakes in tall grass so to be more careful that will be chopped down. A quick brush round with the paint in the guest rooms where the walls have been grazed a little. All mozzi blinds are up on all the windows so all windows can be opened fully without being raided and bit to death and no spiders can get in. The wildlife is amazing now, different types of moths and butterflies, all different types of birds and lizards, frogs, preying mantas, caterpillars, we even are being visited by the owls in the evening. Occasionally we have storks flying over which is amazing as they are huge and we have a regula wood picker pecking the trees every morning. Also planting more plants.

Some other little jobs conquered today. Chopped and pruned lots of trees and branches down ready for new growth next year. Collected freshly grown tomatoes for our onion salad chutney for the curry I am making. Main house is nice and clean with the scent of homemade candle melts (my own, what can I say, im a woman of many talents lol) we have 1 room available which is the annex and has the private bathroom. Complimentary Coffee/British tea/Çay and toiletries. Please pm me if want anymore info
