This is how our story began. This is a real story that started way back in 1924 when the first wine production cooperation in Pomorie was established. A story which with hope and love continues to develop through 1932 when prominent

French architect found the beauty and magical power of this place and established the first modern winery which proud heir today is Black Sea Gold. For 86 years the Black Sea Gold winery has not ever seized innovating and evolving. Today we proudly can state in front of you that the Black Sea Gold PLC factory is the only one of its kind in Bulgaria that uses 100 % clear production of 6000 acres private wine yards to produce its brands of wines and brandies. For the past 86 years our fairytale has been woven into reality. In barrels made of Strandzhaoak, more than 70 years old mature the brandies. In the vicinity of the big oak barrels are situated small “baritsi” with capacity of 225 litres, handmade by Californian oak. In the early morning hours the grapes are being picked by hand in small special boxes and then they are gently pressed to keep their delicate characteristics. The wine-makers defended and passed the ancient glory of Pomorie and in 1932 inspired by a French architect the first modern winery, well-known today as Black Sea Gold was built. To make you part of our story, we have preserved the spirit of the last century in the restored building of the cellar, recreating the wine traditions of the Pomorie region with an unique collection of photographs and accessories of our ancestors.
