Most of the UK media stories about the record-breaking heatwave that struck in June failed to mention the climate crisis, analysis has found.

Nearly 2,500 articles about the extreme heat – when temperatures topped 37C, a record for the time of year – appeared in the UK’s nine main national daily media publications. But nearly three-quarters of them – about 72% – left out any mention of global heating or the climate, according to the analysis by the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU).

How crazy is this, I tried to post an accurate description of Kamping Kromidovo to Google maps as there were several errors in their description and in some earlier reviews :

'We are not a 3 star hotel but a 1 star guest house, with a campsite. Also unfortunately the nearest hot mineral pool is currently closed. Follow the local signs to get here, not the online maps directions, and beware, the village roads are very rough !'

They refused to publish it even after appeal saying that it didnt meet guidelines:

'In this case, the specific policy involved is misrepresentation. This policy doesn’t allow content or behaviour that misleads or omits information to gain improper benefit.'

What is the world coming to?!
