As a private development, Durrat’s infrastructure and its maintenance mostly fall outside the scope of traditional Municipal services covering public communities in the Kingdom. The facilities and services enjoyed on Durrat are commonly shared by all inhabitants of the community and the cost of these services equitably distributed among all beneficiaries for common community services such as secur

ity, landscaping, resort and beach cleaning, irrigation, road & bridge maintenance, street lighting, resort insurance, waste management, water storage tanks and storage, barbeque and public toilets pest control, mosques and activity halls, sports pitches & children, playgrounds, street & common area lighting, fire hydrants, sewage systems and irrigation etc.
