Celebrating Christmas with friends from across the World... decorating the tree together, food, gifts and games on Christmas Eve. Much fun and laughter! Today we took hot chocolate, donuts and gifts to children in nearby villages to share the festive spirit. Two days of celebrating, we are all full and happy! Dear friends (all around the world!),

as every year, we the members of the Spanish School and Homestay Bertha Sucre are preparing our annual Christmas Solidarity Project.

This year we would like to do this activity in a more rural region, about 30 minutes by car from Sucre. At a place called Ilinfi. In Ilinfi there are a lot of families who fled from the countryside (pueblitos) to seek a better life closer to the city, but nevertheless a lot of them still live from subsitence farming.

We would like to give presents to about 100 children. The presents will contain a toy, a cake and sweets. To fullfill this project we will cook, organize, and spend a lot of time, energy and money. So we are trying to raise some money, help us with what you can. To accomplish this dream of ours we are asking you, our friends from all over the world, who stayed, learned and laughed with our family, to help us.
