Jamming is a small family run hammock hostel in the village of Alter do Chao, the heart of the Amazon, the Brazilian Caribbean. Close to the main plaza and the beautiful Isla do Amor, we offer just 8 spaces to hang your hammock, a small kitchen for you to cook in, clean bathrooms with showers and a lovely open space to sit and eat, practice your circus skills or simply relax and enjoy the warm Lat

A visit today from this little sweetie, Açai Sativa. At 4.5 months he's traveled on the Tapajós to local communities, watched circus shows and swum in the river. We love him ❤️ Children are always welcome at Jamming, our little hammock only guesthouse in the heart of Alter do Chão.
