With the proposal of introducing a new standard of hostel to Iguassu Falls, Paraná, south of Brazil, the Concept Design Hostel is the first design hostel of the region and offer two other new concepts sought by international tourists: eco-sustainable architecture and healthy food, with a taste of natural, functional and organic food. The value of the design in throughout project – spacious places,
cozy and nicely furnished – and the high quality of the most important items to every guest, like a beds, mattresses, sheets, are some of the flagships of the hostel. All mattresses are bagged spring, even the ones in the collective rooms, and the sheets are from the hotel industry, normally used in four star hotels. At the Concept, the common space was designed to enhance the exchange of experiences, acquaintanceship and friendship, which is in the hostel’s DNA. It has 3 different areas specially designed for it: TV and reading room, with movies and books at the disposal of the guest; a large gourmet kitchen, fully equipped so the guests can prepare themselves their own meals with their new friends; and also, the bar and swimming pool lounge, where the guests can have drinks and snacks during their happy hour, before going out to get to know the nightlife of the Triple Frontier. This is the only enterprise in the Triple Frontier that resembles the worldwide standard of design hostels. From now on, Iguassu Falls will have a new internationally recognized category of hostel, much in demand by foreign tourists. Furthermore, it is also the only one that offers other two differential qualities: eco-sustainable items and special food.
