Flor: uma verdadeira sobrevivente do Pantanal. 🐆🌿
A Flor é, até onde temos conhecimento, a onça mais antiga já registrada na região da Fazenda Caiman.
O projeto Onçafari , que atua na Caiman • Pantanal, Brasil desde 2011, confirmou, por meio de seus guias e registros de campo, que a Flor já era avistada por aqui naquela época.
Uma onça-pintada vive, em média, cerca de 11 a 12 anos na natureza, embora alguns indivíduos possam chegar a 16 anos. Isso torna a história da Flor ainda mais impressionante.
E pensar que uma onça com toda essa história esteve assim, pertinho de mim, é um daqueles momentos que vou guardar para sempre. 🧡🐆
Não foi apenas um encontro com uma onça. Foi estar diante de um dos animais que fazem parte da história do Pantanal e da própria Fazenda Caiman.

Flor: a true survivor of the Pantanal. 🐆🌿
As far as we know, Flor is the oldest jaguar ever recorded in the Fazenda Caiman region.
Onçafari, which has been operating at Fazenda Caiman since 2011, confirmed through its guides and field records that Flor was already being sighted here at that time.
A wild jaguar typically lives for around 11 to 12 years, although some individuals can reach up to 16 years in the wild. That makes Flor’s story even more remarkable.
And to think that a jaguar with such a long history was this close to me is one of those moments I will remember forever. 🧡🐆
It wasn’t just an encounter with a jaguar. It was standing in front of an animal that has been part of the history of the Pantanal and Fazenda Caiman itself.
