Neste domingo, durante o Festival Perequê, a corrida de canoa caiçara movimentou as águas e reuniu moradores e visitantes em torno de uma tradição que faz parte da história da região.

Entre remadas firmes e a energia da torcida, o evento celebrou a cultura caiçara e a relação das comunidades com o mar.

Um encontro marcado pelo ritmo das marés.

This Sunday, during the Festival Perequê, the traditional caiçara canoe race set the waters in motion and brought together locals and visitors around a tradition that is part of the region’s history.

With steady paddling and the energy of the crowd, the event celebrated caiçara culture and the communities’ connection to the sea.

O trouxe um novo ritmo para as ruas de Paraty, em dias marcados por encontros entre música, cultura caiçara e território.

Com shows de nomes como Chico César, Ana Frango Elétrico, Luis Perequê e BNegão, a cidade foi tomada por uma programação gratuita que reuniu artistas e público em diferentes espaços pelas ruas de pedra.

Um fim de semana em que Paraty se mostrou, mais uma vez, como palco vivo de cultura, troca e movimento.

The Perequê Festival brought a new rhythm to the streets of Paraty, in days marked by encounters between music, caiçara culture and the local territory.

With performances by artists such as Chico César, Ana Frango Elétrico, Luis Perequê and BNegão, the city was filled with a free program that brought together musicians and audiences across different spaces along the cobblestone streets.

A weekend in which Paraty once again revealed itself as a living stage for culture, exchange and movement.

No último fim de semana, trouxe mais música, no ritmo e movimento das ruas de Paraty.

Durante três dias, apresentações gratuitas ocuparam praças e espaços históricos, reunindo artistas e público em torno do jazz e do blues. Um encontro marcado por improviso, troca e pela força da música ao vivo.

Last weekend, the Circuito Sesc Jazz & Blues brought even more music to the rhythm and movement of the streets of Paraty.

For three days, free performances filled squares and historic spaces, bringing artists and audiences together around jazz and blues. An encounter shaped by improvisation, exchange and the energy of live music.

Em Paraty, o Dia de Yemanjá, celebrado em 2 de fevereiro, reúne manifestações religiosas de matrizes afro-brasileiras e a participação da comunidade.

As homenagens acontecem principalmente à beira-mar, com oferendas de flores, cantos e barcos que seguem em procissão pelas águas, reforçando a ligação da cidade com o mar, a pesca e a cultura popular.

In Paraty, Yemanjá Day, celebrated on February 2, brings together Afro-Brazilian religious traditions and the local community.

Tributes take place mainly by the sea, with flower offerings, chants, and boat processions, reinforcing the town’s historic connection to the ocean, fishing, and popular culture.
