The location is absolutely amazing. It's right in the heart of P**a, nestled between the bars/restaurants/ main square and the central beach.The views of the sea are wonderful. Casa das Flores has two options:

The charming colonial-style house (Casa Petúnia) is set among trees, plants and flowers with a magical terrace and view of the sea. The separate high spacious suite (Suite Palmeira) with

impressive balcony has incredible and sensational panoramic views of the bay. Casa das Flores suits guests who appreciate comfortable and relaxed surroundings. It's not a party place, and those who are looking to party should find alternative options. As Casa das Flores is central, just be aware there may be some noise. Above the house is one of P**a's best lounge bars with live music playing most nights until 2.a.m. History

Casa das Flores was, originally, the first pousada (guest house) in P**a. Travellers and hippies, passing through the fishing village, must have been attracted to its rustic simplicity. Everyone slept in one big open room on mattresses, bohemian style. And, probably, the house would have been home to a few interesting tales. In 2008 Matt, a Londoner, came across the house on the last day of his holiday and immediately fell for it. Matt had, previously, passed through P**a on a life-changing nine month trip around South America. Matt bought the house and carried out some renovations in keeping with the original style. In January 2012 Matt was walking on the central beach and stopped to talk to a girl, Milla, who was there on a day trip from Natal, her home town.
