um barco carrega o nome Picinguaba.

De origem tupi-guarani, a palavra significa “refúgio dos peixes”. Um nome que parece ter nascido da própria paisagem e da relação profunda que a comunidade caiçara mantém com o mar.

Aqui, barcos não são apenas parte da vista. Eles guardam caminhos, histórias e conhecimentos transmitidos por gerações.

Picinguaba é mar, memória e território.

On the village shore, a boat carries the name Picinguaba.

Of Tupi-Guarani origin, the word means “refuge of fish”. A name that seems to have emerged from the landscape itself and from the deep relationship the Caiçara community shares with the sea.

Here, boats are not simply part of the view. They carry routes, stories, and knowledge passed down through generations.

Picinguaba is sea, memory, and territory.
