Abaco Island Rentals was founded in 1998 by Julie Farrington and Leslie Sawyer after being approached by second-home owners and recurring visitors alike. The main option at the time for staying on the three-mile-long island was choosing from the two hotels on the Cay – ideal for short stays but less
so for longer, more island-living stays. As long-term locals and friends, they began managing a handful of properties to now have over 30.
