Welcome to Sunkissed, a beautiful beachfront home, in Whymms (or Wemyss) on Long Island, Bahamas. ft. 2 BR 2 BA house right on a gorgeous, shallow, Caribbean blue beach. The living area is open concept for carefree beach living with a living room, dining table to seat 8, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen comes with a full size oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, ice cr
eam maker, food processor, blender etc. There is a full size washer and dryer for quick and easy laundry. There is no TV but the house and porch have Wi-Fi throughout and a Bluetooth speaker. The master BR has an en suite bath and both bathrooms have large walk-in showers. The house is positioned to take advantage of the winds so you simply open up all the doors and windows and feel the cross breeze. The bedrooms have window air conditioners, which you rarely need except on hot summer nights. There are two huge (12 ft. sliding glass doors that open up onto a 600 sq. ft. covered and screened in porch, which has full views of the beach. Because the porch is fully screened you can leave the glass doors open for true indoor-outdoor living. The porch has an all-weather dining table and chairs, comfy chaise lounges, club chairs, and a hammock for afternoon naps. There is a second sun deck with loungers, an outdoor gas BBQ, two kayaks (one single and one double), beach chairs, cooler etc. There is on outdoor beachside shower to wash off the sand when you are finished playing on the beach. Your very own papaya tree grows right beside the house for fresh fruit. Long Island is very laid back – there are no big resorts, fancy restaurants, tennis, or golf. There are other vacation homes on the beach but the closest neighbor is 200-300 ft. away and you can go the whole day enjoying the beach to yourself. There is a well-stocked little grocery store a short drive away, and liquor store right beside it. Spend your time simply relaxing, reading on the deck in the lounge chair, napping in the hammock, snorkeling in the blue waters, or beachcombing for shells or sea glass. Long Island has miles of gorgeous empty beaches to explore.
