Hibiscus Inn Hotel was established in 2002, to provide economical, convenient, comfortable and fully certified and licensed accommodations, to Bahamian and international guests. We have been very successful in doing this with 18 rooms in the beginning and an additional 18 rooms recently completed which provides us with 36 rooms to serve you. we cater to guests that are visiting New Providence from

the Family Islands in the Bahamas to the International traveller that is visiting from the far east in China or Florida in the U.S.A. The convenience of our location is extremely valuable to our guest who might be visiting New Providence to see the Doctor, to do Banking, attend various functions or just chill on the beach or at "Fish Fry". Jitneys are travelling up and down all day for your convenience and rental cars are always available at very reasonable rates. Administrative Officer Job
The administrative executive is responsible for providing personalized secretarial and administrative support to the executive in a professional and timely manner. The administrative executive works one-to-one with the executive on a wide variety of matters. The candidate must be flexible to meet the demands of our growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a cheery disposition, impeccable organizational skills, and prior experience in an assistant role a plus.
Administrative Officer Duties and Responsibilities
Assume the role as the primary point of contact between the executives and internal/external clients
Maintain a daily electronic journal, arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders as needed; maintain a master corporate calendar of all conferences, all-hands events, holidays, and vacations
Handle requests, feedback, and queries quickly and professionally
Arrange travel and other arrangements as needed
Take meeting minutes, accurately enter notes and distribute

Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant, Senior Executive Assistant or in other secretarial position
Full knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Basic bookkeeping and math skills
Proficiency in English
Exemplary planning and time management skills
Ability to stay calm and on-task in high-stress situations
Current in today’s office technology, and computer software including MS Office
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
High level verbal and written communications skills
Discretion with personal and confidential information

Nice to Have
Ability to speak a second language is a plus
