Villa de Chazha Embraces Green Energy
On the 23rd of May, Villa de Chazha Guest House was deeply honoured to host Mr Giles Enticknap MBE, the British High Commissioner to Botswana, as one of our valued guests and as the Guest of Honour during the official launch of our newly installed solar energy system at our premises.
We were also privileged to have among our distinguished guests the Mayor of Francistown, whose presence added great value to this important occasion.
This important milestone was made possible through the expertise and support of Sustainable Energy Botswana, who installed the solar system at Villa de Chazha. We sincerely appreciate their professionalism and commitment to helping businesses adopt cleaner and more reliable energy solutions.
The system includes a thermal water heating system and a battery backup solution that will help support our operations during load shedding. This means improved comfort, reliability, and energy efficiency for our valued guests.
We also extend our appreciation to absa, who attended the event and shared information on the solutions they offer to individuals and companies looking to install and adopt green energy systems. Their support highlights the important role financial institutions can play in helping more people access sustainable energy solutions.
A special thank you also goes to GWM-Haval Francistownal for showcasing their hybrid vehicle at the event, further emphasizing the importance of cleaner and more energy-efficient technologies.
We sincerely appreciate UK in Botswana Mr Giles Enticknap MBE’s visit and support in officially launching this meaningful project, as well as the presence and support of the Mayor of Francistown, Sustainable Energy Botswana, Absa Bank Botswana, GWM-Haval Francistown, and all invited guests who joined us on this special day.
