We are looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven, and dynamic Group Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team and take charge of developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives for our expanding portfolio of properties.
Role Overview:
As the Group Sales and Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by leading and implementing sales and marketing strategies for our group bookings, events, and corporate partnerships. You will work closely with the senior management team to enhance our brand presence and ensure the successful positioning of our hotels in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute group sales and marketing strategies to meet revenue targets across all hotel properties.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and other key stakeholders to generate group bookings.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in the hospitality industry.
• Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, digital content, and promotional materials for group bookings and events.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including the sales team, event coordinators, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of group services.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to adjust strategies and remain competitive.
• Manage and track budgets for group sales and marketing activities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Organize and attend trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to promote the group business offerings.
• Report on sales performance and market trends to senior management and propose new strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in group sales, marketing, or related roles within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, especially in the hotel or event industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinker with a strong focus on results and driving revenue.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with hospitality software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to travel and attend client meetings, events, and industry conferences.
