Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) proudly participated in the First Africa Biodiversity Summit, joining other exhibitors in promoting Botswana as a premier destination of choice.

BTO showcased the nation’s diverse tourism offerings and authentic experiences, a celebration of nature, creativity, and culture. The delegates and attendees immersed themselves in Botswana’s story, from breathtaking natural wonders and cultural treasures to our mandate of destination marketing, tourism product development, investment promotion and,grading and classification of tourism enterprises..

Alongside BTO, a range of tour operators, community trusts, and local organisations showcased their services, products, arts, and crafts, collectively highlighting Botswana’s vibrant tourism ecosystem and the value of community-driven conservation.

The BTO team also spotlighted the City Tourism initiative, inviting delegates to discover Gaborone’s dynamic blend of culture, history, lifestyle, and urban vibrance, and also to discover Botswana’s broader tapestry of destinations
