Some of the best safari moments happen long after the cameras have been packed away.

Chobe National Park is renowned for its spectacular elephant population, and there are few experiences quite like watching these giants gather along the banks, swim across the river, play in the water, and wander across the floodplains.

Is this the best view in Chobe?

We might be a little biased, but we think it just might be.

Perched high on the plateau, the Pangolin Bar overlooks the Chobe River and Namibia's breathtaking Caprivi floodplains, with uninterrupted views stretching all the way to the horizon.

It's the perfect place to raise a glass after a day on safari, watch the colours of Africa unfold, and reflect on the incredible moments you've captured.

As daylight fades over The Chobe, our signature stained glass panels begin to glow, catching the last colours of the African sky.

Designed to resemble the silhouette of the elusive pangolin, the building is more than an architectural statement, it's a tribute to one of the world's most remarkable and threatened mammals...and a reminder of the conservation mission at the heart of everything we do.
