Amazing work is being done at the Daunara Foundation, and with George running the show - Mr Green Finger himself - the crops and herbs grown there continue to supply both the camp and the village with wonderful fresh produce.

As winter sets in and temperatures drop, these magnificent cats will be on the prowl much later in the day, making for sublime viewing.
With large buffalo herds being seen on the grasslands close to camp, expect some wild interactions in the coming months...

Our Tsodilo Hills excursion is a fascinating day out; an early chopper flight takes you across most of the Delta to the mystical Tsodilo Hills; home to probably the most incredible collection of San rock art on the continent.
An amazing cultural journey back through time, a delicious breakfast out there and two stunning helicopter rides over the Okavango; this is one to prioritise if you are staying at Daunara for 4 days or more...

Daunara is not short of lions.
There's rarely a night that goes by in which we don't hear the roars of the dominant coalition; sometimes far, sometimes within 100m of camp.
This young cub is exactly what those roars are designed to protect; the vocalisations are a warning to rival males to keep away.
