Hi Elliefriends
Early this morning we got a message that guests that left Elephantsands Friday morning for the Hunters road did not arive at there destination yesterday
It was reported in Maun this morning and the response of our Botswana Police department and Defence force was amazing sending a chopper immediately
They arrived at Elephantsands and left 20 minutes later to start the search.
Just a big shout out to these amazing departments for coming so quickly we will update progress

Just to clarify some recent comments and a rumour currently circulating: Ben Moller has not passed away. He is very much still with us and remains actively involved at the lodge.
There have also been reports on social media claiming that our campsite is run down and substandard. This is not accurate. Our campsite has recently been upgraded, and we are proud to share photos showcasing the improvements. These claims do not reflect the current condition of our facilities.
Botswana has become an increasingly popular travel destination, and during certain times of the year, both the lodge and campsite can be busy. This is common across the country, particularly during South African school holidays and peak season, which typically runs from June to September. At times, there may be lively groups among the campers. While we do our best to manage noise levels, we ask guests to report any disturbances to the front office so that we can address the situation. Most guests are very understanding and respectful once this is brought to their attention.
As a bush lodge operating entirely on solar power, we unfortunately do not have electrical points available at the campsite. Charging facilities for small devices such as phones, cameras, and laptops are available in the rooms. We hope that one day a powerline passes by the lodge and brings the luxury that goes with it, but as we are located in a remote area, this is unlikely in the near future.
