s as the cultural-economic hub of the Cayo District. It has become the fastest growing city in Belize, with its own weekly must-see market, casino, and top rated restaurants and hotels. This stunning 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Treehouse sleeps 6 people, rises 16 feet off the ground, sits on close to 2 acres of fully landscaped land, and is steps away from the Mopan river with a 360 degree view over the Guatemalan valley. If you are lucky, you will hear the roar of the howler monkeys at a distance. However, they will never come and disturb your peace, they will stay in their own corner of the jungle. Also, on the ground level of The Treehouse, you can enjoy an incredibly relaxing private pool, with its fountain, that could have you daydreaming in no time, if you are caught off guard...!! The dine-in kitchen is truly inviting, and is equipped with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, professional cooking range, full size fridge and freezer, wine cooler, top-of-the line pots, pans, dish-ware, utensils, and accessories (Le Creuset among others). Open the door of The Treehouse, and you come into an extremely well appointed office, with an iMac computer and an AirPrint printer, or you can bring your own laptop, as The Treehouse is connected to high speed internet via satellite. There is also WiFi throughout the house. The 2 bedrooms have both their en-suite bathrooms. Enjoy unrestricted views of the Guatemalan valley from the bathtub in the master bedroom. Both bedrooms are equipped with internet Tv's for your enjoyment. Sleep (daybed, sleeps 2), relax, watch TV, or read a book from our library in the adorable breezeway, that adjoins the master bedroom. Come for a night, a week, or a month, and you will never want to leave! You can cut yourself from the world, and just enjoy the Treehouse, day-in, day-out, as there is enough entertainment, to satisfy the most discerning traveler, or you can enjoy the many attractions that Belize, and The Cayo district have to offer. You'll be lured by the rugged beauty of the region, with its jagged limestone hills, low green mountains where tapirs, peccaries, and jaguars still roam free, and its boulder-strewn rivers and creeks. You'll also appreciate its diversity, in a compact and accessible package. Even on a short stay, you can canoe, kayak or go tubbing down the rivers, hike remote mountain trails, visit a Mayan ruin, explore underground cave systems, go birding or wildlife-spotting, shop at a busy local market, chill out at a sidewalk café, and dine in style at a good restaurant or by lamplight at a jungle lodge.
