Bradley started out with ‘Jan’s Deli’ in 1989 the first self-service entity on the island. Bringing bakers bread, corn tortillas, deli meats etc. Apart from the deli they had the very first public phone and golf cart on the island. Followed by starting a travel agency which they provided taxi service’s to and from the airstrip. They then opened Madeline’s Hardware. During these business venture th

ey had their living quarters just above the hardware. On July 29th, 2000 they decided to move to the north side of the island. Shortly after being hit by hurricane Keith, they decided to close the deli and started renting there previous dwelling quarters, a three-bedroom wooden house, with an addition of 2 apartments. With the addition in progress ‘Jan’s Place’ was born. They have had many successful businesses throughout the years, eventually in May of 2015 they decided to expand with the closing of the Hardware store to ‘Jan’s Hotel’. Jan’s hotel is now a 16-room establishment including 2 Suites and 2 Deluxe Suites. It is 100 % locally owned, that consist of Mr. Molly Bradley, their only daughter Janine, granddaughter Madeline, grandson Brennan and his wife Perri, and their son-in-law Gonzo. You can now guess where the Business names have originated from. Jan’s Hotel is situated on Hicaco Avenue on the beautiful island of Caye Caulker, Belize. They pride themselves in being a closely-knit family and as such everyone that stays with us is welcomed as family. Being a stone’s throw away from shopping; restaurants; watering holes and the water taxis, Jan's Hotel is an ideal spot for both our business clients or a family who just want to relax and enjoy it all. Jan's Hotel is considered your "home away from home" where relationships, people and genuine service make every guest a lifelong friend.
