A fun day of birding and good conversations. From learning more about Belize’s birdlife to swapping stories with fellow enthusiasts, it was great to be part of a festival that brings people together and raises awareness about the importance of protecting Belize’s birds and their habitats.

Now that’s what we call a crowd! 🐾 Dozens of White-nosed Coatis (locally known as Quash) took over the trail cam this week.

Coatis spend most of their days in large, social bands foraging on the forest floor. But when a mysterious sound startled them, they showed off their incredible climbing skills in a flash — fast up the tree, fast back down, and right back to exploring.

Just another day on the trails inside our 30,000-acre private reserve!
