Lobster Fest weekend just opened up.

A cancellation freed a room July 3–5. Walking distance to the main stage, the food stalls, and the once-a-year crowd.

If you were watching this weekend fill and thinking "next year," it's this year.

DM to grab it before someone else does.

Extremely enticing fusion of cozy rooms and fabulous view from the window will surprise you as soon as you open the door of your room. Enjoy the calmness and majesty of this place.

What to pack for June in Placencia: a rain shell (20-minute squalls, near-daily), reef-safe sunscreen, water shoes for rocky entries, light long-sleeves for sunset mosquitoes.

Skip the heavy bug spray — locals use bracelets and citronella candles.

Morning on the rooftop is when most guests stop talking.

Coffee, the breeze, the Caribbean low to the horizon. Every MeMe's Place unit gets rooftop access. ☕

Five bedrooms, two common rooms, private pool, rooftop terrace, full-size kitchen with a six-burner range. Sleeps 20. One door, one bill. From $750 a night in summer.

Worked example: a group of 16 doing 5 nights in summer is $47 per person per night, less than five hotel rooms apart.

Honest talk on Placencia rainy season (June through October).

It is not a wash. Most days are sunny with a 20-minute squall in the afternoon. The squalls cool everything off. The off-season rate is real value if you do not mind a wet beach chair.

Couples book the Macaw for the week they need silence.

King bed, private balcony, no kids splashing in the pool, no group chats on the rooftop. The patio is the right amount of breeze without being windy.
