Amazing stay in belize. The house was beautiful we had everything we needed. Captin Jacks was a local tour company that we booked all but 1 of our excursions with. They picked us up out of the driveway all were very good trips. A few ended up being private yours. Lucky us! Housekeeping came everyday and tidy up everything up changed linen twice a week and did laundry every day! That was a great thing to have. They raked the beach each moring. We loved the kayaking. We took them out almost every day. One other highlights was Manny our chef. Every single meal was great. Cant say enough good about the chef service. One other thing that was great is you can find starfish and jelly fish from the kayak and from the peir we saw a group of manatees several times. Ocean was warm water. Pool was very refreshing on hot days especially. They had everything we needed in this beautiful home. We will definitely try to go back. We stayed 2 weks and wanted to stay a bit longer!

From the moment we arrived til the moment we drove out of the gate, Mabel and staff saw to our every need! Special shout out to Manuel for the delicious meals that he prepared. Also to the maintenance guys for removing the seaweed from the beach for our event photo shoot! This is a wonderful property in a great location with the absolute best staff! Our stay could not have been better!!

Amazing property, Loved Placencia
We had an amazing 8 days at Villa Groovy Gecko. Geri was amazing to work with planning the trip and answering questions. She provided lots of info and arranged our transportation ( minor jr with jewel belize was great) and excursions ( Captain jacks for snorkeling/fishing, AtV to waterfall, Cave Tubing and Monkey River tour) which were flawless. Once onsite Mabel was available for questions we had and provided daily housekeeping and laundry which was amazing The chef Manuel provided delicious meals made from scratch, so nice not to have to cook for our group. Having the house stocked with basic provisions made it possible to enjoy the house immediately. We enjoyed sunrise every morning from the house, dock or beach. The house had bikes to explore the area, paddle boards and kayaks and we had many corn hole tournaments on the beach.The golf cart was perfect for trips to the grocery or local bakery. We had an awesome week and highly recommend this home and Belize

Fantastic 50th birthday trip
Our stay at Groovy Gecko in Placencia was nothing short of spectacular! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by Mabel and welcomed with fruit juice and rum and a tour of the property. It’s a tropical paradise with breathtaking ocean views! The Villa has everything you need from a well stocked kitchen, blender for drinks, coffee maker, large balcony, great bedrooms, wonderful pool, hammocks, bar and grill area, paddle boards and even a pier with manatees swimming nearby! Geri is very responsive to any questions and kept track of provisions and our excursion schedules. Every morning the staff raked the sargassm off the beach (wasn’t much this time of year-March) and cleaned the pool. Emanuel, the talented chef prepared incredible meals tailored to our dietary needs, from fresh seafood to delicious local specialties—every dish was great! Mabel kept the villa spotless and ensured we had everything we needed, making our experience effortless and relaxing.Villa Groovy Gecko is the ultimate getaway for anyone looking to unwind in luxury, surrounded by natural beauty and top-notch hospitality, perfect for our girls-trip of 9. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing visit to Belize
Terrific communication with Gerri prior to arrival which set the tone for the week! Villa was clean well stocked. Villa is just as pictured. Staff was exceptional! Beach and pool were great
