BELIZEAN STUDENT SHINES AT TENNESSEE ACADEMY OF SCIENCE

Belizean scholar Alysia Noralez brought pride to her country last Friday as she represented Austin Peay State University at the 135th Tennessee Academy of Science meeting in Knoxville.

Noralez presented her trilingual chatbot project, Sani, designed to support low-resource language processing—while proudly sharing Belizean and Garifuna history with attendees.

After weeks of preparation, she earned 1st Place in the Math and Computer Science I student oral presentations.
