Tropic Air should not be allowed “to go quietly into that placid night”. Like an ambulance to our medical system, the availability of scheduled air travel is an important lifeline to Toledo’s economic appeal, survival and growth.

Like many other investors and businesses, we are interdependent on infrastructure that will allow for symbiotic co-existence and support economic development. Removal of Tropic Air Belize from our economic landscape will spell doom for many and catastrophe for Toledo’s economic outlook.

We are prepared to join the joint forces of the public and private sector as well as civil society and the general citizenry towards a solution that will be sustained and sustainable.

Along with all stakeholders, deep within our collective wisdom and resources, there is a workable intervention. Let’s pursue it…failure can not be an option!!

At Beya Suites, we proudly celebrate Drusilla, one of our longest-serving female team members.

From her beginnings as an intern to becoming a valued full-time Housekeeping and Dining Assistant, Drusilla’s journey is a powerful testament to perseverance, discipline, and unwavering commitment. Her strong work ethic and positive attitude have not only earned her a place on our team but also the respect and admiration of everyone around her.

Living nearly 20 miles from Punta Gorda Town, Drusilla’s daily journey to work is no small feat. At times, she walks part of the way just to catch a bus—yet her punctuality and reliability never waver. This level of dedication truly sets her apart.

This International Women’s Month, we celebrate Drusilla as a shining example of strength, resilience, and determination. Her story reminds us that greatness is built through consistency, sacrifice, and heart.
