Azucena Galvez has been and continues to be a visionary. She decided very early on to include the story of Clarissa Carter and Thomas Paslow on her menu for Clarissa Falls Resort .

Meet Azucena “Chena” Galvez, a pioneer in eco-tourism, cultural preservation, and sustainable business, who was raised on La Clarissa Ranch. At the tender age of 11, she saw the potential of Belize’s natural beauty and against all odds, she built Clarissa Falls Resort, proving that tourism can thrive while honoring culture and community.
