We are gearing up for the Winter Season. This is a working lodge with Nature's Kitchen whole foods restaurant, full tour scheduling for guests, and a wellness center. Lifestyle: Wake up to the sound of Chachalacas and Toucans, watch the little Agoutis wander through the forest, take a jungle walk to the river, capture a great breakfast in the kitchen after gathering some organic vegetables and fruits around the grounds. The lodge is always a relaxing place for guests and yet a busy place for the staff. The last couple of months we've improved our healthy options and put up our signs for 'Nature's Kitchen Whole Foods Restaurant at Maya Mountain Lodge'. From steak-lovers to Vegans, our clients are eating well and guests are really happy with our low-key evening programs. The aquaponics project is going well now that we introduced the fish last week, our organic gardens are producing well, our medicinal plant area is beginning, and our ornamentals are perky and almost ready for the dry season. The lodge is a great place to be! So why might I leave this delicious life-style? Well, I guess 75 is a good age for retirement and grand-children are calling! We are working on World Cup viewing day and Valentine's Day, planting some medicinal and ornamental plants, and improving our Vegan Menu options! There's always so much to do in the jungle! Well, those are my areas; actually there is a whole lot more going on here. Come and join us! 😉😃

This little guy wandered right in front of us as we went down the new road of track one. Track one is now subdivided into 41 lots plus an incredible 17-acre river parcel. People oooh and ahhh when they see the beautiful views and the wildlife. Besides, it's right next door to Maya Mountain Lodge!!!
