New Moon in Leo | Total Solar Eclipse

There was no Moon Monday this week.

Something about Monday felt like it was asking us to wait.

And today, we understand why.

We arrive at a New Moon in Leo beneath a Total Solar Eclipse, only days after the peak of the Lion’s Gate Portal.

There is something powerful about the light disappearing in Leo—the sign ruled by the Sun and associated with courage, creativity, and self-expression.

Maybe this moment isn’t asking us to find more light.

Maybe it’s asking us to remember where our light comes from.

The Lion’s Gate invited us to recognize our fullest expression. The eclipse asks us to look inward:

Who are you when no one is watching?

Who are you without validation, expectations, or the version of yourself you learned to perform for the world?

Eclipses remind us that we don’t always need to force clarity. Sometimes we need to become quiet enough for what has been hidden to reveal itself.

And today is Wednesday—ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, truth, and expression. For us, it is also Throat Chakra Wednesday.

The Lion’s Gate asked us to recognize our light.
The eclipse reminds us it was never outside of us.
And Mercury asks us to speak from that place.

Not louder.
Truer.

One of the questions we get asked most is, “How did you take the leap?”

The truth is, there wasn’t one perfect moment. There wasn’t a foolproof plan. There was just a decision.

Sometimes, when you know it’s time, you don’t stand at the edge calculating every possible outcome. You jump.

Because the longer you look down, the harder it becomes.

Some days it still feels like we’re free falling. Other days it feels like we’ve landed exactly where we were always meant to be. Maybe that’s what chasing a dream really is: learning to surrender to the unknown while trusting yourself enough to take the next step.

If we had waited until we knew exactly how it would all work out, Ix Chel would never exist.

This week, as we celebrate our journey and give one of you the chance to experience it for yourself, maybe this is your reminder too.

Take the leap.

You never know what might be waiting on the other side.

We’d say the road to building a dream is even bumpier.

Looking back at these videos reminds us how far we’ve come. Every challenge taught us something. Every setback pointed us in a new direction. Every victory reminded us why we started.

Today, the Moon moves through Capricorn, reminding us that every summit is reached one intentional step at a time. Instead of rushing ahead, take a moment to recognize how far you’ve already come.

Waning Crescent Moon

Today, we find ourselves in the final breath of this lunar cycle.

Tomorrow, the New Moon will arrive, bringing with it a fresh beginning. But before we plant new intentions, the Moon asks us to honor the sacred pause.

The Waning Crescent is a time of release, reflection, and surrender.

It reminds us that there is wisdom in slowing down. That not every moment is meant for doing. Some are meant simply for being.

With the Moon in Cancer, we are invited to come home to ourselves.

Cancer is the keeper of the heart. It teaches us that true strength isn’t found in always moving forward. Sometimes it is found in creating space to feel, to rest, to grieve what has ended, and to celebrate how far we’ve come.

Over the past month, we’ve climbed mountains, faced truths, reflected on old stories, and rediscovered our courage.
