THE GREAT BLUE HOLE offers scuba divers a unique diving opportunity in Belize. It is a large sinkhole off the coast of Belize that lies near the center of the Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll located 100km offshore and from Belize City. The hole is circular in shape and is more than 300m wide and 123m deep. In addition to the novelty of diving in a large blue hole, the site features clear waters and a variety of flora and fauna where you can see nurse sharks, Caribbean reef sharks, and bull sharks.

Ambergris Cay is Belize’s largest island, and it is encircled by the protected areas of the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System. The cay and reserve are home to many mangrove species, among other abundant tropical flora and fauna.
