For anglers new to fly fishing in saltwater, bonefish present the perfect challenge. They require much of the skills and practices (such as strip setting) needed for the flats but are less demanding than permit. They can be found in good numbers in Ambergris Caye, so a blown shot can sometimes be made up for in no time.
